84 Communications Founder to Speak at PRSA ICON and Nonprofit Conference in Washington, D.C.
Rina Foster, APR, founder and chief communications strategist of 84 Communications, has been selected to speak at two of the Public Relations Society of America’s most prestigious events: PRSA ICON 2025 and the PRSA Association/Nonprofit Conference, both taking place this October in Washington, D.C.
At PRSA ICON, Foster will address “Leading through the Fear Factor: Mental Readiness for Crisis Communicators and the Leaders Who Rely on Us,” a session designed to help communicators confront fear, build confidence and lead their leaders during crisis and high-stakes moments.
At the Association/Nonprofit Conference, she will present “When Donors Panic: Communicating with Funders & Stakeholders in a Crisis,” a session focused on how nonprofit communicators can build and maintain trust with funders, donors and major stakeholders when the organization is facing internal or external scrutiny.
“With growing pressure on leaders and organizations to respond quickly and transparently, communicators must be mentally and strategically prepared to guide the way,” said Foster. “These sessions are about empowering communicators to lead with clarity and courage whether they are navigating a crisis or communicating through controversy.”
Foster brings nearly two decades of experience in reputation, crisis and issues management. She is known for helping teams prepare for the unexpected and communicate through complexity.
PRSA ICON is the premier annual event for communications professionals, while the Nonprofit Leadership Conference brings together nonprofit PR and marketing leaders from across the country.
