From PRSSA to PRSA President: Courtney Fogle’s Leadership Journey in Public Relations
This year, our Senior Communications Advisor Courtney Fogle stepped into the role of President of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Las Vegas Valley Chapter.
Like many communications professionals, Courtney’s journey started in college through the Public Relations Student Society of America during her time at Grand Valley State University. GVPRSSA provided early exposure to industry standards, ethical frameworks and professional expectations that continue to shape her approach today. It instilled the importance of strategic thinking, research-based planning and a commitment to continuous growth.
Now, as Chapter President, she is focused on creating meaningful opportunities for connection, professional development and thought leadership within the Las Vegas communications community.
“PRSA Las Vegas became my professional home when I moved here in 2019," Courtney shares. "Stepping into the role of President feels like a natural extension of the relationships and mentorship that shaped me and an opportunity to create that same space for others."
For 84 Comms, leadership in organizations like PRSA reinforces who we are: trusted advisors grounded in strategy, accountability and a love of learning.
Courtney’s presidency reflects that commitment. By helping shape programming, elevate conversations around storytelling and ethics, and foster community among communicators, she is contributing to a stronger local industry – one that benefits clients, colleagues and the broader business community.
Whether through APR accreditation, industry conferences, local programming or leadership roles within organizations like PRSA, our team believes that investing in growth strengthens both individual careers and client impact.
We’re proud to support Courtney in this role and excited for the year ahead.
